After continually seeing retiring owners having to close their doors and lay their business to rest when they were unable to find a buyer, Nikita Gossain founded PPR Capital to purchase small businesses and leverage their infrastructure as a launchpad for innovation.

Nikita is an MBA graduate of Cornell University, a CFA Charterholder and a Bachelor of Business graduate of Monash University. She recently received the prestigious Johnson 10 Under 10 recognising 10 notable Cornell University alumni who have graduated within the past 10 years. Her experience spans numerous industries across Australia and abroad. She previously managed large mergers and acquisitions (M&A) within KPMG’s Deal Advisory division. Nikita was meaningfully involved in her family’s business growing up, and got a taste of the impact small businesses can have on their community.

Nikita has been a board member of Western Edge Youth Arts, a not-for-profit organisation bringing performing arts to refugees and underprivileged children. She has been a member of the Youth Referral and Independent Persons Program, a program where trained volunteers support minors in police custody throughout proceedings when a parent or guardian is unavailable. During a Jawun secondment, Nikita worked with Aboriginal leaders to create a community designed solution to the staggering suicide rates in the Redfern region.
